Juan Román Riquelme. One of our favorite soccer players of all time. A player who had touch, vision, passing, and astuteness that allowed him to play at the highest levels. At one point considered the best creative center midfielder in the world. The astonishing aspect about Riquelme was that he was not fast or 'athletic'. Many coaches write players off bc of their lack of athleticism. Their lack of 'pace' or they are not 'industrious' enough. To that we say, if a player has the skill, intelligence and ability to make a difference then the coach must find a way to utilize the player. Anyone can be fast, strong, and industrious. Not everyone has the skill to control a game with a simple pass or a simple touch. We will always love and appreciate the artists of the beautiful game. #WorldClass ... See MoreSee Less
